[PvP + DPS] Stamina / Dragonknight – Minor Threat

| Builder: @SharkWithALaserBeam | Class: Dragonknight  | Race: Khajiit | Style: PvP DPS | DiGX: Yes |

Overview

If you’re looking for an in your face, throw caution to the wind build, then look no further because Minor Threat is the build for you. Glass Cannon, check. Survivability, no … err yes, check! Minor Threat is a build which utilizes the self-buffing power of the Dragonknight class to provide the extra oomph that gives it such great survivability. Though a glass cannon in approach, make no mistake this build earns its living on the front lines, where it can be found merc’ing fools and cc’ing players attempting to flee with their lives. The key in this build is taking full advantage of the powerful passives found in the Earthen Heart skill line. Passives such as Battle Roar and Helping Hands ensure you have the resources to keep going in any fight. This means each cast of the cheap double CC, Fossilize, or your Igneous Shields grants you the minor brutality buff along with restoring 5% of your stamina. Couple this with using a low cost ultimate, such as Take Flight, and you will be restoring Heath, Stamina, and Magicka as fast as you can earn 110 ultimate. All of this gives Minor Threat versatility, synergy, mobility, and survivability. Coupled with raw damage penetration and 4k weapon damage (with buffs), and this is a five-tool player build if ever there was one!

Main Hand: Rally, Critical Rush, Dizzying Swing, Executioner, Fossilize    Take Flight

OffHand: Poison Injection, Shuffle, Hardened Armor, Igneous Shield, Resolving Vigor    Standard of Might

Potions & Food

Minor Threat really only uses one potion, Essence of Immovability. Truly this is a potion that every PvP build out there can benefit from; here it is useful to prevent being locked down in chokepoints and helps to mitigate the many high-risk situations this build will find itself in. The other potion is just the standard trash stamina pots, Essence of Stamina. These are dropped by nearly ever mob in PvE and perfect to inhale on demand when you need that extra boost of resources. Finally, Minor Threat uses Garlic Cod with Potato Crust, a max Health and max Stamina food.

Notes

  • The following skills make excellent flex options for the build; Caltrops, Noxious Breath, Dragonfire, and Choking Talons.
  • This self-buff / kill rotation can be done without ever breaking stealth; (1) Rally (2) Bar Swap (3) Shuffle (4) Hardened Armor (5) Draw a heavy attack (6) Release with Poison Injection (6) Bar Swap into a Critical Rush (7) Execute. This rotation may take some practice but is deadly once mastered.
  • Bow passives and Champion Point bonuses mean that this build is excellent at hit and run tactics, where shuffle and a dodge roll (which grants major expedition on the bow bar) helps you escape.
  • This build uses Spriggan’s, Viper’s Sting, and Kra’gh (one piece).

[PVP + DPS] Stamina/Nightblade – Doctor Sneaky Poison Hammer Pants

| Builder: @Gankimus| Class: Nightblade| Race: Khajiit | Style: PvP DPS | DiGX: Yes |

Overview

With a PhD in Rektology, the good Doctor skillfully employs speed with maneuverability on the battlefield to stay alive and finish targets. Focusing on flexibility and stealthy movement, his medium gear is Well-Fitted for peak dodge rolling and running performance, providing Dr. Pants with some very strong escape or ganking options. Maximize damage by stacking abilities and managing procs with timed bar swaps. This build works well in traffic but really shines when surprising some fools out of stealth with all the goodies stacked.

Main Hand: Radiant Mage Light, Poison Injection, Relentless Focus, Razor Caltrops, Piercing Mark    Toxic Barrage

Offhand: Rally, Surprise Attack, Critical Rush, Dark Cloak, Resolving Vigor    Onslaught

Potions & Food

The Doctor carries a full bag filled with all manner of tonics and restoratives to help him cope with life’s difficult circumstances.  Liberal consumption of Immovability potions keeps Dr Pants mobile and having Invisibility handy for a timely escape when the going gets rough ensures that “Sneaky” is  more than just a fancy title.  Keep your resources regenerating with purple drink and you have a versatile build that allows you to get in  and out of a fight quickly with deadly effect.

Notes

  • To maximize results drink potions while on the 2h bar in order to proc your Clever Alchemist buff, and then to switch to the bow bar to proc Sheer Venom.
  • If looking for greater survivability consider flexing in Monster sets such as Troll King (Health Regen) or Pirate Skeleton (Resist).
  • Some possible skills to consider swapping in and out depending on circumstances include the following: Mass Hysteria, Shuffle (Skills), Dawn Breaker of Smiting, Bolstering Darkness, Incapacitating Strike (Ultimates).
  • This build uses Clever Alchemist, Sheer Venom, Molag Kena (1 piece), and Velidreth (1 piece).
  • This work drew inspiration from @onetrvth’s Toxic Avenger build.
[PVE + DPS] Stamina / Nightblade – Bolt On Horsepower

[PVE + DPS] Stamina / Nightblade – Bolt On Horsepower

| Builder: @infrno187 | Class: Nightblade | Race: Khajiit | Style: PvE DPS | DiGX: No |

Overview

Looking for a build that’s straightforward with easily obtainable gear but that still brings the pain? Well, look no further than Infrno’s latest build. As the name implies it is all about bolt on horsepower or in this case raw output through craftable sets. In this build, we’ll stack up Hunding’s Rage & Night Mother with some good ole fashioned Agility Set jewelry, light our hair on fire and scream into the abyss at 100 M.P.H. Finish the build off with a monster set which procs off of damage, along with Orzorga’s Tripe Trifle Pocket (blue stamina recovery/max health food) and you’re set. With this build expect to find an excellent starting point for all of your PvE needs. With its over 3,000 weapon damage and 74.0% critical chance unbuffed this little demon is just waiting to be unleashed.

Main Hand: Blood Craze, Bloodthirst, Ambush, Surprise Attack, Steel Tornado    Incapacitating Strikes

Offhand: Relentless Focus, Poison Injection, Endless Hail, Sap Essence, Rapid Maneuver    Ice Comet

Potions & Food

The Bolt on Horsepower build is extremely flexible, with its potions and food being no different. Here one can use any potion that suits their needs. While the same can be said for food, for the maximum benefit we strongly encourage you to use Orzorga’s Tripe Trifle Pocket.

Notes

  • PvP Variant. Looking to maybe branch out into some PvP? With the same armor and a few different skills swapped in, you’re set for both small and large scale gameplay. Start out harassing your group’s enemies from a distance, then close the gap in order to finish them off with up close pressure. There are several escape skills if things don’t go quite to plan. But that never happens to you – does it? A few more tweaks and the makings of a solid ganking build begin to emerge. The important thing to remember is to not be afraid to experiment with different skills to suit your needs while in Cryodiil.

Main Hand: Flying Blade, Bloodthirst, Ambush, Surprise Attack, Steel Tornado    Incapacitating Strikes

Offhand: Relentless Focus, Poison Injection, Lethal Arrow, Dark Cloak, Rapid Maneuver    Toxic Barrage
